Former State Rep. Penny Pullen Hit by Car

Former Des Plaines and Park Ridge area State Representative Penny Pullen was taken to the hospital Friday after being hit by a car in the parking lot of a Park Ridge bank, the Journal & Topics newspaper reports.

Pullen was hit by the side mirror of a car going about 5 miles per hour, then fell and hit her head on the ground. She was conscious when taken to Lutheran General Hospital for treatment, the newspaper reports. There is no current information available on her condition.
