Driver Charged With DUI in Crash That Injured 2 in Palatine

The driver in a one-car crash has been charged with driving while under the influence following an accident on Route 53 near Rand Road about 1:36 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Daily Herald. 

The driver had to be extricated and the driver and a passenger in the vehicle were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge following the crash, according to the article.

Should be charged with attempted murder. How many peoples lives did this drunk endanger before crashing? How much did it cost in emergency response? Enough is enough.
