Door-to-Door Energy Workers Issued Permit Citations, More in Monday Blotter
The following arrest information was supplied by the Des Plaines Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
The Des Plaines Police Department provided the following reports.
Solicitation without Proper Permit
Police issued citation to five individuals for soliciting without a permit between 4:15 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. on Nov. 9. All five were representing IGS Energy, Inc., and, according to police, did not have proper solicitation permits or a municipal license to go door-to-door in Des Plaines.

Jones L. Davion, 19, of Chicago, Erneice N. Bishop, 21, of Chicago, Shakya P. Bishop, 19, of Chicago, Yesenia Valencia, 22, of Cicero and Natelli T. Wright, 22 of Bellwood, were issued citations for soliciting without a permit.

Disturbing the Peace
Police responded to a noise complaint at a residence on the 800 block of E. Oakton St. between 2:07 a.m. and 2:19 a.m. on Nov. 4. When police arrived on the scene, according to the report, loud screaming and yelling could be heard coming from the residence approximately one block away. Fernando Lagunas, 24, of Des Plaines, was issued a citation for disturbing the peace.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
A car stereo and air conditioning and heating controls were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on the 1600 block of Estes Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. on Nov. 9 and 6:59 p.m. on Nov. 12, according to police. Property loss was estimated at $500.
