A Des Plaines woman is missing after the vehicle she was riding in was swept away by flood waters in Indiana.

A 31-year-old Des Plaines woman is missing after the vehicle she was riding in was swept away by flood waters in Indiana, CBS Chicago reported.

Kathryn McGill was with her husband Adam when floodwaters swept their vehicle off of Indiana 257 in Pike County, the TV station reported. The incident happened near the East Fork of the White River.

The Evansville Courier & News reported that the incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday. The newspaper reported that Adam McGill was rescued by a group of waterfowl hunters who saw the car swept off the road.
