A Chicago man who robbed a Des Plaines Subway restaurant and stole a car from a Rosemont cab driver will spend 67 years in prison, the Daily Herald reports.
Larry Hampton, 42, took a cab to the Subway restaurant in January of 2011 and attempted to rob the store. After leaving the scene of the crime, Hampton hijacked the cab, leading police on an hour-long chase, the newspaper reports.
