Mayor Matthew J. Bogusz issued the oath of police patrol officer to Ryan Kolk Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in the City Council Chambers, 1420 Miner Street.
Kolk already completed the required instructional session at the Chicago Police Academy and will immediately begin field training with the Des Plaines Police Department.
