The man replied he couldn’t because his car was being repaired. The police report states that Kieda then began calling him names and the man exited into the condo parking lot, asked Kieda why he was calling him names, and pointed to his empty parking space to show his vehicle was not there.

The man said Kieda started to punch him about 20 times in the face, according to the report. A witness said he heard a struggle, but did not see it. Kieda said the man punched him twice in the stomach lightly, but did not offer an explanation for why he had scratch marks on his chest, and the man had fresh scrapes on his knees and right elbow.
