Des Plaines Police Blotter: Man Loses Teeth in Dispute

Busted window

Police responded to a criminal damage complaint in the 1200 block of Andrea Lane on May 17. According to the report, an unknown person busted out a window, causing approximately $800 in damage.

A woman reported her wallet stolen while shopping at Jewel, 1500 Lee St., on May 14.

Battery

A man lost two of his teeth following a dispute with another male in the 1600 block of Lee Street on May 12 around 6 p.m. According to the report, an unknown offender chased the victim to an intersection at Lee and Oakton streets and struck him in the face, causing two of his teeth to fall out. No further information was provided.

Patio table damaged

A patio table in the 900 block of Beau Drive was reported damaged on May 17.

Stolen purse

A purse was stolen from the back of a motorcycle parked in an alley in the 600 block of Oakwood Court on May 19.
