Des Plaines celebrated National Night Out this week.

The Des Plaines Police Department’s National Night Out drew hundreds of residents and visitors to the Maine West High School parking lot, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Tuesday.
The annual event allows members of the Police Department to interact with the community in a neighborhood setting, a press release from the city states.
