Cook County Sheriff: Heart Patient with Dementia is Missing

Loan Munta, 86, was last seen Sunday morning at his residence on Park Avenue.

A man who suffers from dementia and has a history of heart disease has gone missing, and was last seen on Sunday morning when he left his family’s residence in the 9500 block of Park Avenue, the Cook County Sheriff’s office announced.

Loan Munta is described as 5-ft. 2-in. tall, 86 years old, with an olive complexion, and weighs approximately 120 pounds, according to the press release. He has gray-brown hair and has a scar on his left cheek.

Munta left his family residence around 7:20 a.m. for his usual morning walk in the area of Dee Park and north of Golf Road near Dee Road, police stated. He was last seen wearing a tan knee length trench coat, brown pants and a blue shirt.
