Bank Robber Sought by Mount Prospect Police, FBI

Law enforcement is asking for the public's help in locating the man responsible for leaving a bank in Mount Prospect with an undisclosed amount of cash on Feb. 7.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man responsible for robbing a bank in Mount Prospect on Thursday.

The man walked into Bank of America, 1080 S. Elmhurst Road, handed the bank teller a not that demanded money, Mount Prospect police stated, and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police responded to the bank robbery call at 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 7, according to the report.

The male subject was described as 6-foot to 6-foot 2-inches tall, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a ski mask with a design on it, police stated.

Mount Prospect police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating the incident, according to statements released by the police and FBI.
