State Rep. Candidate Mel Thillens (55th Dist.) officially opened his campaign office Tuesday night with an Open House attended by over 100 elected officials and supporters.
Bob Dold, candidate for U.S. House, spoke and praised Thillens for challenging the "Madigan-Moylan effort to hold power".
In attendance were County Commissioner Peter Silvestri, State Rep. Michael McAuliffe, State Rep. David Harris, Park Ridge Alderman Roger Shubert, Former Supervisor and Committeeman Mark Thompson, Township Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano, Supervisor Carol A. Teschky, Township Trustee Peter Gialamas, Niles Trustee Chris Hanusiak, Evanston Twp. Committeeman Blair Garber, Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak, School Dist. 71 Board Member Dave Laske, North Maine Fire Trustee Sharon McLaughlin, and Judge Candidate Jim Pieczonka.
