Maine Township Holds Annual Meeting

The 164th Annual Town Meeting was held April 8 at Maine Township’s Town Hall. Since 1850 when Townships were established in Illinois by state law, the Township Supervisor has been required to read financial and other reports out loud to residents in attendance. “This year nearly 100 residents and others heard about the great progress made on a range of our programs, events and services and how the Township has zero debit,” says Supervisor Carol Teschky.

Teschky thanks Park Ridge Police Chief Frank Kaminski who served a Moderator, Parliamentarian Sean Sullivan, Clerk Gary K. Warner and all those who participated in the annual meeting.

Here, l to r, are Kaminski, Teschky, Sullivan and Warner at the conclusion of the meeting.
