LSSI Receives Magnanimous Donation from Papa Murphy’s in Sterling, Illinois
March 11, 2014. STERLING, IL-On December 2, 2013 Papa Murphy’s in Sterling, Illinois, collaborated with Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI), a United Way agency, and generously donated 10% of their total sales to LSSI’s Senior Service Program.
With this kind donation and collaboration, LSSI will be able to continue providing senior protective services, intensive case management and stabilization services, home care services, Alzheimer’s & dementia care, respite care for caregivers, and much more to residents of Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties.
Last year, LSSI served more than 96,700 people, with 47% having annual incomes of less than $5,000. LSSI believes that they are called to care for their neighbors in need, by providing 190 programs at 85 sites across Illinois. They believe that this calling is a gift, and a privilege.
