'Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action' Gather for State of the Union

Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) invites residents of the northwest suburbs to watch President Obama deliver his State of the Union address this Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00 pm.

A new group, Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA), invites progressive-minded residents of the northwest suburbs to watch President Obama deliver his State of the Union address this Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00 pm at Fox & Hound, 918 W. Dundee Rd. in Arlington Heights.

There is no charge. Food and drink will be available for purchase. NWSOFA was formed by volunteers who worked on President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign who want to continue to work for progress and social justice.

Looking forward to progress, Matt! Thanks for organizing this event. It is encouraging to know that there is such a large, connected community of progressive-minded folks in the area. No Kool-aid for me, I'll have a glass of wine, thanks.

There continues and there will always be much white noise out there. That is the nature of politics. For those who genuinely wish to sort through the static I suggest you objectively watch MSNBC and Fox News for a week or two and compare.

Speaking of whining, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... Marilyn. Always full of happiness and good cheer. Always an insightful comment to add to the most difficult of subjects.
