Des Plaines Church Donates Van to Flood Victims

Sheree Brussa received the van from Trinity Lutheran Church. It will help her to take care of her son who is afflicted with a variety of medical conditions, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A Des Plaines church has just made life a whole lot easier for a family impacted by the April floods, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Trinity Lutheran Church  donated a 1992 Dodge Caravan to Sheree Brussa, who lost her home, car and many other belongings in the floods. Brussa’s 6-year-old son Joseph has a host of medical conditions including hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy and kidney failure. The vehicle will allow Brussa to take him to his doctor’s appointments and pick up medications and other supplies needed to keep him healthy, the newspaper reports.
