The Des Plaines Public Works and Engineering Department has received notification that the Canadian National Railroad Crossing at Woodlawn Avenue will be closed for reconstruction beginning at approximately 8 AM, Friday, May 3, 2013, through Tuesday, May 7,
2013 (weather permitting).
Motorists are advised to use caution and observed detour routes posted: Prairie Avenue to the south, First Avenue to the west, and Arlington Avenue to the east.
