Annual meeting, The Center of Concern

The Center of Concern, a not-for-profit social service agency serving the elderly and other adults in need, will hold its annual meeting Monday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Park Ridge Senior Center, 100 S. Western Avenue, Park Ridge.  Friends and supporters are invited.  The Center also will provide light refreshments and announce the winner of its Dee Heinrich Volunteer of the Year Award.  

Donations of non-perishable food items for the Maine Township Food Pantry are welcomed.  Please call The Center at 847-823-0453 by May 9 to RSVP.

Founded in 1978, The Center’s programs include supportive services and counseling for the elderly and those seeking affordable housing, friendly visitors for the homebound, in-home health care referrals, emergency assistance, free blood pressure and blood sugar testing, and volunteer opportunities in the office and in the field.
