Tuesday Morning Book Group

Readers Services Supervisor Lynne Rubio will

lead a book discussion on The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce

in the Rotary Heritage Room on the third floor.

Books are available one month

prior at the Readers Services Desk on the third floor.

Convinced that he must hand-deliver a letter to an old

lover in order to save her life, our antihero Harold Fry sets out on an

impromptu 600 mile walk across England, wearing yachting shoes.
In all respects,

he is woefully unprepared for the journey, but as he walks, he meets

influential characters and recalls his life’s path, each step leading him to

become something greater than he has ever been.
