A brand new cooking series for ages 14+ with Chef Ed in the  newly remodeled kitchen at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker St., 847-391-5711, www.DPParks.org.

Your traditional Thanksgiving dinner will never be the same after Chefs Edward and Pina introduce you to their unique gourmet fare. Learn techniques necessary to create dishes including their Special Stuffing, Bourbon Street Sweet Potatoes, Curried Maple Brussel Sprouts, Perfect Roast Turkey and Gravy, and Fresh Cranberries. Your new skills will help make this holiday meal one your family will remember for years to come!
