Fun trips for kids in grades 2–8

Join the Des Plaines Park District on these exciting field trips and travel to a variety of popular local venues for sports, games, food, and fun. Each day is different adventure–water sports, video games, roller skating, bowling, gymnastics–check out the list!

Lunch is provided on each trip. Please note, parents with children under 8 years old, must provide their own booster seats. All trips depart from and return to the Leisure Center.

Or stay with us at the Leisure Center for fun with friends. Kids choose staff supervised program areas including gym sports and games such as basketball, dodgeball, gaga, pickleball, and hockey; board games and arts and crafts; time in the game room to play air hockey, billiards, Xbox 360, and PlayStation; movies; and, weather permitting, outdoor activities.
