Children who abuse prescription
drugs often get them from their own home or a friend or family member’s home. On
each Take Back Day, our local police departments collect more than 300 pounds
of medications. You can prevent drug abuse by removing medications from your
home while also protecting our water supply and landfills from improper
disposal methods.

This event is sponsored by your Police Department, MCYAF, the Maine Community Youth Assistance Foundation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). For more information, contact
MCYAF at www.mcyaf.com or (847) 858-7090.
