January Programs at The Summit Focus on Song and Dance

Lift your spirits with dancing and
singing at two January programs and join us as we kick off the 2014 focus on
music and movement at The Summit of Uptown, 10 N. Summit (at Touhy), Park
Ridge.

In the first program on
Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 1:30 p.m., Alex and Margaret Arteaga will demonstrate
Latin and Ballroom dancing.

In the
second program on Friday, Jan. 31, at 1:30 p.m., John Boda will recall the
career of Irving Berlin.

There is no charge for either event
but reservations are required.

The Arteagas, who have been dancing
together for 18 years, have competed around the country and enjoy performing
and sharing the fun of dancing with others. They also teach Latin and Ballroom
styles of dance and Alex helped pioneer the initial “Having a Ball” program in Chicago.

and White Christmas.
