Free health screening November 16 at Oakton Place in Des Plaines

Seniors and others can check
their blood pressure and blood sugar, be tested for proper balance by a
physical therapist, and chat with a doctor at a free health screening on
Saturday, November 16, at Oakton Place, a senior living facility in Des
Plaines.  Presented by The Center of
Concern, a Park Ridge not-for-profit that serves the elderly, and Oakton
Pavilion at Oakton Place, this event will start at 10:00 a.m. and close at
12:00 p.m.  State Representative Marty
Moylan, a Democrat and former mayor of Des Plaines, also will be on hand to
hear local concerns.  Coffee and
refreshments will be served.
