Mr. Maine West

One of Maine West High School’s most popular annual entertainment events is coming soon, as the Mr. Maine West competition will be staged on Thursday, November 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.

Competing this year are freshman representative Brendan Atwood, sophomore representative Manny Perez, junior representatives Radostian Mika (Rad) and Dante Harrison, and senior representatives Ralph De La Cruz and Chris Hoffmann.  The finalists were selected by virtue of an earlier talent competition.

The gentlemen will compete in Casual Wear, during which time they will escort their moms to their seats.  They also will compete in the categories of beach attire; question-and-answer, during which they will answer a question about Maine West; talent; formal wear, during which they will escort an Orchesis dancer.  Finally, all contestants will participate in a group dance.   Also performing dance routines will be the Maine West Orchesis Dance Company.

Special thanks to Men’s Warehouse, which is furnishing tuxedos for the evening.
