One of Maine West High School’s most popular annual entertainment events is coming soon, as the Mr. Maine West competition will be staged on Thursday, November 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.

The finalists were selected by virtue of an earlier talent competition.
The gentlemen will compete in Casual Wear, during which time they will escort their moms to their seats. They also will compete in the categories of beach attire; question-and-answer, during which they will answer a question about Maine West; talent; formal wear, during which they will escort an Orchesis dancer. Finally, all contestants will participate in a group dance. Also performing dance routines will be the Maine West Orchesis Dance Company.
Performing emcee responsibilities for the evening will be senior Orchesis dancers Becca Bremmer and Emily Hozian. Choreographers are senior Orchesis dancers Lauren Ehlers and Jessica Vasquez. The Maine West Orchesis Dance Company produces the show under the direction of Lisa Jacob and Amy Claus.
Special thanks to Men’s Warehouse, which is furnishing tuxedos for the evening.
