DPCC Presents 'Learn to Create Videos Using Your Still Photos and Short Movie Clips'

Dave Garney, of Central DuPage Camera Club will give a presentation on creating DVDs with still photos and movie clips October 22, 7 pm at the DPCC meeting. The
presentation will show how to combine stills, movie clips and music which can be entered in CACCA competitions, posted on YouTube or emailed.  The presentation will review time-line intensity techniques to keep it interesting, and show some concepts in a variety of short training and travel videos.  A brief movie editing software tool demonstration will conclude the session.


The Des Plaines Camera Club is a group of individuals who share an interest in photography. The club provides encouragement to members to expand their interests in photography in which they not only learn from one another, but also have an outlet for their creative interest. Meetings include workshops, lectures, and demonstrations in computer programs and traditional film and digital photography. The club is a member of Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association (C.A.C.C.A) and enters monthly inter-club contest.


The Des Plaines Camera Club meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month September thru May. Meetings are at 7:00pm in the Des Plaines Park District Arndt Field House located at 1990 White Street in Des Plaines. Watch for announcements of other special programs that will be coming up.
