The Des Plaines Art Guild and Des Plaines History Center present ART GUILD 10, an Exhibition of Artists with 10 works each. The public is invited to attend this reception and one-day sale of the artists' work, including original paintings, prints, note cards, and other gift items. The reception begins at 1pm and will go until 4pm at the Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson Street, Des Plaines, IL.
Each artist presents two framed original works plus eight unframed additional works. A People's Choice Award will be given to the winning artwork at the end of the reception.
Visitors may vote for their favorite artists' work by purchasing a $1 raffle ticket. Raffle prizes include gift certificates from local sponsors. Proceeds benefit the Des Plaines Art Guild and the Des Plaines History Center. There is no admission fee for the event. For more information, contact the Des Plaines History Center at 847-391-5399.
