Roadways Open Again in Des Plaines
Oakton Street and Rand Road are open again after the flood.
Traffic issues due to flooded roadways have been slightly relieved today, the Journal & Topics reports.
Oakton Street and Rand Road in Des Plaines are now open again, but other roads will remain closed until at least Wednesday, the newspaper reports. Before the streets can re-open, they all need to be inspected for safety.
