Bye-Bye Des Plaines, It's Been A Blast!

Introducing Christopher Brinckerhoff, Your New Des Plaines Patch Editor

Dear Readers,

I'm both excited and sad to say that as of this week I am no longer the editor of Des Plaines Patch. It's been a fantastic journey and I've loved every second of getting to know all of you and I hope I have done justice to reporting your community news. I am still with Patch but I have transferred to sales. My territory includes Des Plaines so don't worry, you'll still see me around (I know you can all sleep better at night now knowing this). Also, my email remains the same at lisao@patch.com so drop me a line anytime.

Stepping in to take my place is Christopher Brinckerhoff. He's a talented reporter, all around nice guy and he's been working with me at Des Plaines Patch since before we launched the site. Some of you may have even met him already. I am confident that he will do a great job. So everyone give him a warm welcome! And don't hesitate to send him news tips via email and texts at 3 a.m. he LOVES that! Well not at 3 a.m... But please, as he continues to get comfortable and to know the city, you can help him along if you come across anything that you feel deserves coverage! Pass it on! He can be reached at christopher.brinckerhoff@patch.com
