The Monday Parks PlayBook: Plan your winter classes now!

Swim, stretch, sing, and swing into the wonderful winter season! The Des Plaines Park District Winter 2014 Program and Events guide is online now. You can read the brochure onscreen or download a copy of the PDF.

 Copies of the brochure will be available in all Park District facilities beginning November 25. Brochures will also be available at the Des Plaines Public Library, City Hall, the History Center, and the Frisbie Senior Center. As part of the Park District’s Going Green Project, we will no longer be mailing the Spectrum. Read more about the project at www.DPParks.org.

Registration opens for residents on December 9 and for non-residents on December 16. Want to register online? You’ll need a household ID and password. Read how to get both at: http://www.dpparks.org/Registration.aspx

New this winter, you’ll find cooking classes, winter break sports camps, and group fitness classes, as well as some of your annual favorites: the Winter Wonderland Family Festival, our Father & Daughter Royal Ball, and the Chili Open Golf Tournament.  All of us at your Des Plaines Park District are getting ready for a busy winter season. Come out and play!
