The Monday Parks PlayBook: Plan your spring classes now!

Swim, stretch, sing, and swing into the wonderful spring season! The Des Plaines Park District Spring 2014 Program and Events guide is online now. You can read the brochure onscreen or download a copy of the PDF.

Copies of the brochure will be available in all Park District facilities beginning February 24. Brochures will also be available at the Des Plaines Public Library, City Hall, the History Center, and the Frisbie Senior Center. As part of the Park District’s Going Green Project, we will no longer be mailing the Spectrum. Read more about the project at www.DPParks.org.

Registration opens for residents on March 17 and for non-residents on March 24. Want to register online? You’ll need a household ID and password. Read how to get both at:

New this spring, you’ll find cooking classes, spring break sports camps, and group fitness classes, as well as some of your annual favorites: Late Night in the Park, the Mother Daughter Tea, Easter Egg Hunts, Earth Day Youth Fair, and the Spring Fun Fair. The Spring Program guide includes an 8-page camp guide with information about all of our summer day camps and how to save when you register with our Early Bird Specials. All of us at your Des Plaines Park District are getting ready for a busy spring season. Come out and play!
