The Monday Parks PlayBook: Help for birthday parties during the holidays!

This might be a new record. Radio stations have started playing Christmas music, and Thanksgiving is still ten days away. Stores have had holiday merchandise out now for a few weeks…and cards and ornaments are already on sale. With the holidays fast approaching we know you have so much to do. So, if your little one has a birthday during this crazy season, we can help take care of some of the pressures and worries. All you have to do is invite the guests, and we’ll do the rest!

Our expert birthday staff is standing by, ready to help you create a unique party for your little one. We have many themes to choose from including: a Classic Party with traditional games like musical chairs, hot potato, and Bozo buckets; a Princess Party where we treat your child like royalty; and a Magic Party with card, rope, and slight of hand tricks performed by a professional magician. Or, let us plan a custom party based on what your child is most interested in. Does you child like leopards? Let us “take you an safari.”  Does your child have a favorite, book, tv show, or movie? We can take you “To infinity, and beyond!”

Parties are two hours long, with 90 minutes of planned games, activities, and crafts. We supply the tableware, two birthday experts to run the events, and handle all the clean-up! Find all the information at www.DPParks.org or in the Winter 2014 Spectrum, which is online now.
