Two and three year olds scramble for treats promptly at 10:00am; followed by the four through six year olds at 10:15am; the seven to nine year olds at 10:30am; the ten to thirteen year olds at 10:40am and the fourteen year olds to adult ages kids at 10:50am. From 8:30 until 10:00am, enjoy a pancakes and sausage breakfast with the Easter Bunny, for $5 per person, courtesy of the Optimist Club of Des Plaines. Children ages two and younger eat for free; no reservations are required. Breakfast is served in the Mountain View Rooms at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street.

After the hunt, why not make a day of family fun? Come to Mountain View Adventure Center for a round of mini-golf. The par-3 old-fashioned mine-inspired course has waterfalls, bridges, and plenty of obstacles to challenge golfers of every age. Adults play for $7 and children for $6.
