Monday Parks Playbook: Dare to share the terror at Mountain View!

“If you’re undaunted, by things that are haunted”...come to Haunted Hole-O-Ween, a spooktacular weekend of fun October 25-27, at Mountain View Adventure Center. During the day, the 18-hole mini-golf course is dressed in its Halloween finest. The waterfalls will run blood red, and beware the skeletons, spiders, snakes, and rats running over the course. Bone chilling horrors await you around every corner. Beginning at 8:00pm Friday and Saturday and at 7:00pm on Sunday live ghosts, goblins, and ghouls will wander the course searching for unwilling victims. There is something spooky around every corner and things that go bump in the night...

Wait! What was that? A bat? Did something just crawl out of that coffin? Is there something behind that tombstone? It’s the Headless Horseman. He and his horse are usually lurking around the entrance to the course in the evening.

Live haunting time on the course may not be appropriate for very young children. Children in costume will receive a goody bag. Mountain View Adventure Center is located at 510 E. Algonquin Road in Des Plaines. Hours for Haunted Hole-O-Ween are: Friday, October 25 from 4:00-11:00pm, Saturday, October 26, 11:00am-11:00pm; and Sunday, October 27, noon-9:00pm. Admission is $10. Save with an Oaklee’s Guide coupon.
