Footlighters Theatre Company is casting actors, singers, and dancers, ages five to adult, for their summer musical production of Tarzan. Auditions will be held on Sunday, May 4: children ages 5-15 from 1:00-2:30pm, teens and adults from 2:30-4:00pm; and on Tuesday, May 6: children ages 5-15 from 5:00-7:00pm, teens and adults from 7:00am-9:00pm. Callbacks are scheduled on Thursday, May 8, at 7:00pm.
Auditions are held at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street. Those interested should be prepared to sing at least 32 bars of a song that best shows their vocal range. An accompanist is provided; pre-recorded instrumental tracks are also acceptable. Scripts will be provided for a brief read after singing, with more in-depth reads at callbacks. The dance portion of the auditions will also take place at callbacks. Please bring a recent headshot.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30–9:30pm beginning Tuesday, May 13. The show runs July 24–August 3: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 2:00pm.
