Everybody’s Dancing’ in the Moonlight!

Dupage, Chicago’s ultimate cover band, brought their rockin’ dance party to Lake Park on Thursday, July 25, for the final Live at the Lake free summer concert of the season. The five piece band: Darryl Armistead, vocals and keyboard; Bob Kuntz, vocals and saxophone; Tom Hull, bass guitar; Ron Rysell, vocals, drums, and percussion; and John Gawle, vocals and lead guitar, performed classic and contemporary rock favorites from the ’60s to today. The first set began with Motown’s signature song, Dancing in the Streets, followed by Bryan Adams’ Summer of ’69, and the dupage disco demolition including Car Wash, Funkytown, Celebration, and Disco Inferno. Throughout the rest of the evening the band traveled to Margaritaville, had everybody Livin’ the Vida Loca, and crooning to Sweet Caroline.
