The holidays are right around the corner and it's time to start planning how to fit exercise into your hectic schedule. The answer: Group Fitness Classes - no weekly commitment and lots of fun!

The holidays are right around the corner and it’s time to start planning...The menu? Check. Inviting friends and family over to celebrate? Check. Shopping? Check. Working out to relieve the added stress? Uh oh!

If you haven’t had time to join a health club or make a commitment to a weekly fitness class, we have an easy way to help you squeeze a little exercise into your hectic schedule: try a Group Fitness Class. You can choose from over ten classes that focus on cardio, flexibility, and strength & resistance training. Enjoy Zumba Gold, E-Z Impact, or Cardio/Tone. We have classes that meet during the day and in the evening to accommodate even the craziest of schedules, and help you work your way to a healthier, more stress-free you. Just pay the low daily fee and join in the fun!

1. December 1 and 2: Winter Wonderland, at the Frisbie Senior Center. This annual two-day celebration of the season features free pictures with Santa, great entertainment for kids, and activities for the whole family.

2. December 14 and 15: The Nutcracker With a Twist. Artistry in Motion Dance Company’s 2012 Winter Spectacular showcases ballet, modern, and hip hop performed to the beautiful Tchaikovsky score. Onstage at Prairie Lakes Theatre.

3.  January 12: The Chili Open. Nine holes of golf in the glorious January sunshine, at Golf Center Des Plaines, followed by a hearty chili lunch at Club Casa Cafe.
