The Monday Parks PlayBook: Happy New Year!

Kick off the New Year with a New Year's Eve overnighter, Kruisin' Kids day trips, Leisure Lizards fun, and a ski trip to Alpine Valley.

Ready to ring in the new year? There is no better way than at the annual New Year’s Eve Overnighter at the Leisure Center. We have an evening of gym sports and games, arts and crafts, board games, movies, time in the game room, and a New Year’s Eve party with dinner, a balloon drop, and noisemakers. Breakfast the next morning is included. Come and party like it’s 2013!

January 2-4 our Leisure Lizards can spend their days with friends enjoying sports and games, arts and crafts, tournaments, time in the game room, and hanging out with friends at the Leisure Center. Our Kruisin’ Kids will travel to enchanted Castle, Happenings Family fun Center & Orbit Skate, and Brunswick Zone & American Academy of Gymnastics. Three great days of safe, supervised fun.

On January 5, hit the slopes at the Alpine Valley Resort, featuring diverse terrain for beginner ease, challenging expert runs, and a full-featured Terrain Park. There are over 90 skiable acres with 20 runs, a vertical drop of 388 feet, and a 3,000 feet run. Free beginner lessons are included with the trip, and equipment is available to rent.

Registration is in progress for Winter programs, sports, and special events. Information is available online, and Winter Spectrum are available in all facilities. Seek! Find! Enjoy!
