The Community Celebrates the Grand Opening of Apache Park
The community came together to celebrate the grand opening of Apache Park, 2100 Pine Street, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00am on August 18.
The Des Plaines Park District thanks: The Park Board of Commissioners, The Friends of the Parks, Mayor Martin J. Moylan, Fifth Ward Alderman James Brookman, City Clerk Gloria Ludwig, Officer Colin Johnson, the Des Plaines Police Department, the Des Plaines Community Foundation and Healthy Community Partnership, The Crime Stoppers, The Senior Corps, and the neighborhood families for helping to celebrate the Grand Opening of the newly renovated playground at Pine and Highland Streets.
