Ryan Block Joins The Lawless Advisory Group at Mesirow Financial

CHICAGO (February 3, 2014) — Mesirow Financial today announced that investment manager, Ryan Block, (34), joined The Lawless Advisory Group at Mesirow Financial.  Ryan joined the firm in 2008 and has been specializing in Retirement Plan Consulting. The opportunity to work with the Lawless Group allows him to expand his service offerings to comprehensive wealth management strategies for affluent individuals, foundations and business owners.  Block is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designee. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s of science degree in finance and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member and finance chair of the Kellogg School of Management Energy and Environmental Leadership Club, a member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association and he also volunteers for the Ladder Up Tax Assistance Program and Project Nourish at Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim (BJBE). Block grew up in Mount Prospect, Illinois and now lives in Arlington Heights with his wife and daughter.
