Crosson is a Vice President and Head of the Construction Engineering Department at the Rosemont firm. He has worked for CBBEL for 22 years.

Each year, the IRTBA Board of Directors gives this award to an individual of a member firm in recognition of their efforts to recruit and retain members to the association.
“Dan has not only recruited members but also has done a great job with membership retention,” said Michael Sturino, President and CEO of IRTBA. “We also would like to recognize Dan’s eight-year tenure on the Membership Committee and thank him for his many years of service.”
CBBEL is a full-service consulting engineering and surveying firm specializing in civil, transportation/highway, municipal, traffic, construction, water resources, environmental, structural and mechanical engineering. Headquartered in Rosemont, their projects include such things as the engineering of bike paths and consultation on commuter transportation options. They also focus on minimizing the impact on the environment in their projects.
The Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) was formed in 1938 to promote the transportation needs of the state and is now the largest statewide organization of companies designing, building and maintaining the state highways, transit systems, railways and aviation systems. The core purpose of IRTBA is to advance and promote the transportation design and construction industry in Illinois.
