Mashed potatoes is a Thanksgiving classic, and there are lots of ways to make them decadent. You can add garlic, fresh herbs or different types of cheese to add flavor to your potatoes.

Baked Mashed Potatoes
Preparation takes 10 minutes, cooking time is 30 minutes, serves two.

Ingredients:
Two tablespoons of melted butter. Jewel brand butter is two for five dollars at Jewel-Osco in Des Plaines.
Two cups of cold mashed potatoes.
Two whole eggs, well-beaten.
One cup of milk or cream.
One pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Stir the butter well into the potatoes, then add the eggs.
2. Add the milk or cream. Season with salt and pepper. Beat all together well.
3.Place in a greased pudding dish and bake until brown.
