More than half voted for the clear winner.
A week ago we asked readers what type of business they would like to see move into the empty retail space at 1479 Market St. in Des Plaines.
As of Feb. 20, 86 readers voted in the poll between a bookstore, boutique, coffee shop, delicatessen, and bar and grill. The winner, with 47 votes, 54 percent of the total, was a bar and grill.
