Does a perfect night out in Des Plaines begin with pasta and a glass of Italian red wine at , and end with a theatrical performance at Oakton Community College?

Do you take your family to for a friendly evening race around the track, punctuated by a celebratory ice cream cone, and then to the classic Pickwick Theater in Park Ridge to watch a film?

Perhaps Honolulu Coconut Chicken and a Mai Tai at the Tiki Terrace before knocking down some pins at is more your style. Or could the perfect night out in Des Plaines include a stop at the Beacon Tap for jalapeno poppers and a cold pint or at to dance the night away?

I believe the aldermen are Denise Rodd south of Dempster and Dick Sayad north. Contact them.Read More Although I do not live in Rodd's ward (Im in the 8th) I am somehow on her mailing list and she keeps wanting to know what she can do for me. Here is something.

I suggest contacting the alderman to raise the profile of what these streets need.
