Find Out Which Restaurant Readers Chose for Best Mother’s Day Brunch

The winner is a Des Plaines staple, founded in 1963.

The winner of the 2012 Readers’ Choice for best Mother’s Day brunch is , 1062 Lee St., .

Giuseppe’s, a family-owned business founded in 1963, is a Des Plaines staple. Toni Demma, co-owner, said they have been serving the same Mother’s Day brunch menu for more than 20 years, and it includes all the classics you’d expect: traditional breakfast items, meats, seafood, pastas and desserts.

Demma said they’ve kept the menu the same over the years because it’s so popular and works so well. But what really makes Giuseppe’s a special place for Mother’s Day is the familial atmosphere.
