Powerball Jackpot Hits $400 Million
The Powerball jackpot will be $400 million for Wednesday's drawing.
The U.S. Powerball jackpot has risen to $400 million, one of the largest prizes in history, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The next drawing will be Wednesday.
Powerball is played in 43 states including Illinois and in Washington D.C. and the Virgin Islands. The biggest Powerball win so far was $590 million won with a ticket bought in Florida in May 2013, the newspaper reported.
