One Meal Makes More: Nutritious Meals on a Budget

The Des Plaines Park District will host a free one hour cooking demonstration: One Meal Makes More: Nutritious Meals on a Budget, by Chef Susan Maddox on Tuesday, October 5, from 11:00am to noon.

Chef Susan Maddox is a local favorite and co-owner of Le Titi de Paris. An alumni of Kendall College, Chef Maddox has put a lot of thought into creating healthy, delicious meals that can be created in a short amount of time, with just a few ingredients. In this one-hour demonstration, she will show how simple ingredients can make a dinner that becomes more than one.

Please reserve your spot by calling or e-mailing Jeanine Stricker, Community Social Worker for the City of Des Plaines, at 847-391-5493, or via e-mail: jstricker@desplaines.org.
