Maine West High School Holiday Prism Concert

Maine West High School will present one of its most unique and popular fine arts events in the form of its 11th annual Holiday Prism Concert on Sunday, December 12.

"The unique feature is that it is 90 minutes of continuous music," explained West Fine Arts Chair Patrick Barnett.  As soon as one song ends, the next one begins, as directors and students utilize multiple performance locations within the auditorium.

More than 250 students participating in more than 10 band, choral and orchestra ensembles will be performing.  Two performances are scheduled, the first beginning at 2 p.m. and the second at 4:45 p.m.  Between the two sessions, a reception will be held in the student cafeteria.
