The annual Safe Saturday Trick or Treat event, sponsored by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce. A full day of free, fun, safe Halloween activities for the whole family.
Costume Parade for Kids • All around Metropolitan Square at 10:00am.
Children who participate, in costume, will be given a Trick or Treat Bag with a special prize. Families are welcome to trick or treat at participating businesses throughout Des Plaines. Free!
Day of the Dead • 11:00am–4:00pm
The History Center presents it’s annual Dia de los Muertes celebration. Free!
Craft for Kids • 1:00–3:00pm
