Des Plaines Illustrator Kurt Dinse Showcases Original Comic at C2E2

Local artist pitches tales from the Hoosier State in his comic "One Year in Indiana."

Des Plaines Patch caught up with local illustrator and artist Kurt Dinse at C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) this weekend, where he was selling and promoting his comic One Year in Indiana as well as other original artwork.

The comic follows the adventures of protagonist Conrad Lant, "America's smartest death metal vocalist," after his buddy Ziggy invites him to crash on his couch for one year at an Indiana college campus. The comic is loosely based on Dinse's own experiences.
